Initially will like to understand each participant, their Socio/economic/cultural/educational background, their inclination towards sales operations. This will be followed by basic understanding of sales operations., wherein selling is the prime objective. Before selling a product or service etc, a person has to sell himself/herself. Focus will be initially on personality etc. This will be followed by intensive classroom training on the various aspects of Sales Operations which has been put together from my 25 years of work experience in India/abroad with Multinational Companies.! Overall emphasis will be on Personality, Negotiation skills, Communication skills, Discipline, Time Management, Route Planning, Team management etc. If the person is leading a team then the emphasis will be on Leadership skills, analytical ability. The class room training will be complimented by role plays and if possible with real time market /field visits to show the 'action" as it happens.

I have around 7 years of teaching experience for MBA students coupled with Industry experience in Sales/Marketing/Senior Management for over 20 years in India & abroad with Multinational Companies. The experience I have gained in my professional career is used an live examples to make the students understand the concepts of Sales/marketing/advertisements etc. This is very effective in the learning process of students of the students. For example..if I'am teaching the concept of "Product Relaunch" in Marketing..I will take the example of a range of products which I relaunched in Hyderabad where I was working. In the case of International Marketing..I will take the example of the product which I was involved in Sales /Marketing in a foreign market..!

Having worked in Multinational Companies for over 25 years in India & abroad in senior management positions( GM/VP), I had to manage a large team to achieve set objectives. And as we are handling large teams of human beings, we have to handle different characters with different mindsets, attitudes, working styles. In professional organisations, a leader is judged by the results he gets from his team under different circumstances. Here in addition to leaders personal technical/academic qualifications , Soft Skills of the leader come in the forefront to get the job done by respective individuals for the team to achieve it's objectives.! I would without hesitation say that for a person to move into leadership role , the development of soft skills plays 75% role in the person's progress in leadership hierarchy. Developing soft skills is not easy at the same time it not difficult. Main ingredient required is a positive attitude. Very clear and simple example is that of a person accepting direct criticism with a positive outlook with the intention of improving.
