First of all read English newspaper loudly in a room, so that you can hear your own voice! This is essential because English is not the first language for many of us and hence we are very conscious of using the words and corrrect pronounciation. Sometimes we may feel nervous and hesitant also. First of all get the fear of the English language out from your mind. Start analysing the news, or article and mark the words which you do not comprehend and look in the dictionary immediately. Try to write the article or news which you have just read in your own words. This way you will gain lot of confidence and also improve your writing skills. Slowly you will find that you are able to communicate with your friends , colleagues confidently . Give a period of 6 to 12 months for positive results. Hard work and persisitence is the key..! You can do it..! Good Luck.. read less
