I am a Piano/Guitar/music tutor. Graduated from The Bangalore CONSERVATORY. major in Music Education majoring in 🎹 . Currently working in a music School, but I thought I wanted to do freelancing, which I think will be better for me and my students.

I am a musician and teacher. I teach Guitar, Piano & Vocals to those who wanna learn to sing and play a musical instrument. It's my joy to see my students excel in performing music & different songs. I will also help my students to compose their own music if they want to!

Rohan Jose is a Pianist/Singer songwriter from Bangalore. He is an extremely skilled and passionate musician and teacher. He began his musical journey when he was 11 years old with Ashwin Prabhakaran at Theme Music Institute, Bangalore. He is proficient in Western classical music and Contemporary Music(Jazz and Blues). He has completed Grade 8 in Western Classical Piano from London College of Music and holds a diploma in Music Performance (Jazz and Blues) from the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music (SAM), Chennai. With over 7 years of teaching experience, his teaching methods are remarkable and he constantly perseveres to impart his knowledge. Lots of his students have appeared for the exams conducted by the London College Of Music and ABRSM where most of them have passed with distinction or merit. Being a performer himself, he trains his students such that they grow overall as performing musicians. Rohan has learned under prominent international faculty, such as Antonio Guerra, Gabriel Geszti, Christie Kanska, Denis Stern, Aman Mahajan and Sharik Hassan. Rohan has also performed for musical theatre and was the pianist for Two Musicals held across five cities - The Adams Family Musical and The Lucky Stiff Directed by Leila Alvarez. Rohan is also the author of the book, Roots (Level 1-3) which he has designed specifically for his students. He is currently working on Roots Adult Course which is set to release in September.

I teach Western Vocal Music with a strong focus on developing singing technique, voice modulation, musical expression, and performance confidence. I have been teaching Western vocals for the past 3 years, working closely with students to help them understand their voice, improve control, and perform with confidence across different musical styles. I hold an RSL Western Vocals Grade 8 certification, which has provided me with advanced training in vocal technique, performance skills, and music theory related to Western singing. This certification forms the core foundation of my teaching approach and allows me to train students with a structured, internationally aligned methodology. Alongside my vocal training, I am also a performer and hold an Extended Diploma in Music Production. This background helps me give students a deeper understanding of sound, pitch, rhythm, and musical arrangement, enabling them to sing with better musical awareness and precision. My teaching journey has been extremely rewarding. During my time at a previous institute, I received consistently positive feedback and strong reviews from both students and parents. Seeing students grow in confidence, improve their vocal abilities, and enjoy the learning process has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work as a vocal coach. I follow a structured and practical teaching approach, creating detailed lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level and goals. My sessions include vocal warm-ups, breathing techniques, scale practice, song interpretation, and performance training. I ensure a healthy balance between theory and practical application so students understand not only how to sing, but why certain techniques work. My classes are interactive and engaging, often incorporating guitar and keyboard to support pitch training, harmony, and musical understanding. I conduct both online and offline classes, offering flexibility based on students’ preferences and schedules. I also provide dedicated guidance for students preparing for international certification exams such as RSL and Trinity. From structured practice routines to performance preparation, I support students throughout the exam process to help them feel confident and fully prepared. My goal is to help every student develop a strong, expressive voice and a lifelong connection with music.

I teach students of all ages how to play the guitar and sing. I have been a guitar player for over 17 years and have taught others how to play the guitar for over seven years. It is a source of great satisfaction for me to impart to my students the information and experience that I have acquired over the course of my career, as well as to assist them in meeting the prerequisites for the growth of their abilities. Even though there are many various kinds of guitars, the acoustic and electric guitars are the ones that I find best to learn. I teach classes in various musical styles, including Western classical music, country-folk music, ukulele, rock and roll, jazz and blues, Indian classical music, and Indian film music. I teach particular classes such as plucking, chord progression, etc., as well as learning how to play a certain song, the fundamentals of playing the guitar, and how to play the guitar as an accompaniment to singing. I am known to be quite calm and possess a good bit of patience. As a result, I find that providing my students with online coaching is really satisfying.
