As a musician with five years of experience and a Grade 5 certification from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in London for guitar, I have always been passionate about playing and composing music. Pursuing my exams for Grade 8 certification, I wanted to expand my knowledge in composition and learn more about playing different genres of music. This desire led me to practice diligently and eventually teach at the DSM Creative Institute in Bangalore, India. At the DSM Creative Institute, a renowned music school, I initially gave private one-on-one classes to aspiring guitarists. I also had the opportunity to attend master workshops from New Zealand, which enriched my musical knowledge and skills. I formed my band and started performing in various local gigs and events alongside my teaching commitments. Teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but also about inspiring and nurturing my students' creativity. I have expertise in guitar playing different styles, such as acoustic, classical, and western classical. With the advancement of technology, I also ventured into online teaching, conducting interactive classes for students worldwide. I utilised performance videos and intros to enhance the learning experience for my students and developed my syllabus to cater to each student's unique needs and interests. As my experience and expertise grew, I realised my passion for composing my music. I started dedicating more time to writing and experimenting with different styles and genres. Looking ahead, I am now opening my own music institute, where I plan to offer comprehensive guitar training programs that encompass technical skills and music theory, composition, and performance. I aim to create a nurturing and inspiring environment for budding musicians to thrive and express their creativity. I am excited to continue my musical journey, exploring new horizons and sharing my passion for music with others.
