- Start with your right hand. Place all of your fingers in the "middle c" hand position.
- Practice playing up and down this position.
- Learn a few chords.
- Learn some basic songs.
- Get your grade 1.
- Get into more advanced pieces.
- Keep going until you reach grade 8.
