I am a Kathak exponent, gold medallist M.A. BHU (2007) and winner of several awards including Sringar Mani(2008). I have performed in ETv Lucknow, DD UP, Aakashvani and performed all over India in several dance festivals like Sawai Gandharva Mahotsav (Pune), Kala Ghoda (Mumbai), etc. I actively teach and perform and currently completing my Phd from Bangalore University.

I am a senior disciple of ‘Karnataka Kalashree’ Guru Smt. Revathi Narasimhan, Bangalore. A Vidwat from Karnataka State Board, State and Central Government Scholarship holder. Practicing Bharatanatyam for over 20 years, I have won many awards and prizes at State and National level competitions including ‘Yuvapratibhe’ award from Karnataka State Govt, ‘Nrithyashree’ title from ‘Theatre Movement’, Cuttack. ‘Meera’ award from Samskar Bharathi, Agra. ‘Rolling Shield’ at Gopinath Das Nyasa, Bangalore. I am also an “A” grade artist of Doordarshan. I have given several solo and group performances that include Chidambaram Natyanjali, Kinkini, Ankura, Hampe Utsava, Pallavotsava, Mysore Dussera festivals and in Chennai Sabhas. I have been teaching in USA for 8 years and have given solo and group performances in Seattle, Cleveland, Portland etc. I have recently moved back from USA to India and starting classes at Bangalore.
