I completed mybachelor degree in music from Sachin Deb Burman Govt Music College, Tripura to join Visva-Bharati University, Shantiniketan for a masters degree in Rabindrasangeet. Over the years I have trained under various gurus, namely Shri Samir Kanti Das, Smt Shukla Bhattacharya, Smt Swastika Mukhopadhyay and Shri Prabuddha Raha. I am a regular performer for All India Radio Yuvavani as well as television (Doordarshan, Akash Tripura). I am an accomplished Rabindrasangeet Visharad and have received National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India in 2014.
