Another major benefit of online baking class like any other online class is that you can be in the confinement of your home and for the recorded sessions you can go through them at your own desired time. Plus you get to know the tips and tricks, do's and don'ts and substitutes. «less

Some of my cupcakes have moisture drops forming on them when I store them in an airtight container, is this to be expected?

Nitesh replied | 19/05/2016

If you keep them in a container while they're still warm, this would happen because of evaporation. Let them cool off nd then store em.

Yes you can. Please vet them properly as teaching might require some additional skills and they need to make you understand. Some one who is professional baker plus teaching experience would be ideal.

How can I ensure my oven is at the right temperature?

0 0

Aditya replied | 19/06/2016

oven generally makes a sound after it is pre-heated wait for the beeping sound and the temperature of the oven is right

0 0

Minal Kailash replied | 24/06/2016

There's is something called as oven thermometer. You may get it online or in Cake speciality stores. Just keep it in oven for 15 min it will display the current temperature of the oven. You may check that with the temperature that you have manual set and you can then know if your thermistor is working properly or needs to be changed.

Hope this helps!

If you are a beginner start with basic cake pans made by Seiko or Rolex. And slowly you can invest in pans made by Wilton or nordicware.. «less

Can I bake in advance and freeze my baking?

0 0

Aditya replied | 04/07/2016

You can for cakes but make sure you use simple syrup for the cakes before freezing them

0 0

Minal Kailash replied | 06/07/2016

What do u wish to freeze? Plain sponges without icing or syrup if cling filmed and kept in freezer will last for 3 months with no loss of taste or texture. However one cannot freeze a ready fresh cream cake. Cookie dough can be frozen for a week and baked cookies can be frozen for 3-4 months. Brownies can be frozen for 2-3 months provided they r nicely packed. Anything else u want to freeze?

I teach cakes, cookies, breads, cupcakes, muffins, brownies, tarts, etc all without use of any electrical machine whatsoever. Just need basic cheap tools, hands, table and good oven to bake items not fancy machines.
