In Vedic Maths, there are sixteen basic mathematical principles known as "sutras." These sutras serve as the foundation for various techniques and strategies used to perform mathematical calculations. As an experienced tutor registered on UrbanPro.com, I can provide an overview of some of the key Vedic Maths sutras: "Ekadhikena Purvena": This sutra translates to "By one more than the previous one." It is used for multiplication and finding squares. "Nikhilam Navatashcaramam Dashatah": This sutra means "All from 9 and the last from 10." It is used for subtraction. "Urdhva-Tiryagbhyam": This sutra translates to "Vertically and Crosswise." It is used for multiplication of numbers that are close to a base. "Paravartya Yojayet": This sutra means "Transpose and Apply." It is used for solving linear equations and finding unknowns. "Shunyam Saamyasamuccaye": This sutra translates to "When the sum is the same that sum is zero." It is used for simplifying algebraic expressions. "Anurupye Shunyamanyat": This sutra means "If one is in ratio, the other is zero." It is used for solving problems involving proportions. These are just a few examples of the Vedic Maths sutras. Each sutra provides a specific guideline or principle for performing mathematical operations efficiently and accurately. How can you teach 7-8 year old kid to learn/memorize tables. Since kids these days are taught logic of addition and arriving at the multiplication result, they are reluctant to memorize the tables.
you do not need to make them memorise tables, instead help them understand the logic behind the numbers, table learning will happen automatically.
