Vedic Maths consists of techniques which help in faster mental calculations for example multiplication with 11, finding square of a number, multiplying two numbers etc. These techniques may help in various competitive exams where calculations are to be done as fast as possible like Bank PO, MBA entrance exams etc. Word of Caution: These techniques rely a lot on mental calculations rather than on writing on a piece of paper. They are totally different from the way calculations are taught to us in school, etc. In schools the stress is more on writing the steps. Hence one needs a bit of practise to get used to these techniques. Rest they are not difficult to master and use. read less
