CSIR-UGC NET / LS Exam Will be conducted by CSIR twice in the year Specially in the month of june and December 3rd week.I hope CSIR UGC NET Notification already out in the month of August 2017. Once you apply in online u Will get registration and application number. I wish u all the Best

How many number of times did UGC NET happen in a year?
Two times in the year. One is conducted in third sunday of the June and second one in December
