55% marks in M. A/MSc/M.Com, MBA in core subject in which the student is applying for NET..... Appeared candidate can also apply provided they need to clear the Master's degree within three months of passing the UGC NET examination.

What is eligiblity for appearing in net exam 2016 and when it"ll be held. As I have done my masters in Sanskrit and b.ed from Hindi history so for which subject I prefer for net. I have 55% in my b.ed . Am eligible or nit.
So June 2016 exam will be conducted and online application will be given on April or May month. you can appear on your PG degree subject only.

Earlier I wanted to become a doctor, but later on due to family and all I jumped into engineering. Even I dropped a year for JEE Exams but if I cannot get into that I took admission in a UPTU college, now my engineering is about to complete but in these four years of graduation I did not learn anything.So now I don't know what to do, I kind of feel don't want to move further in this field.But what I can do next I am confused about my passion but one feeling I am having lately that want to help people directly,in the surrounding social issues and such stuff,so I am thinking why not build a career in Social Worker,so what should I do next.Please give your advices?

Is it necessary to take UGC NET coaching?
Well it totally depends on you. To conclude that you can solve previous year question papers and get an idea where you stand. If the concepts are not clear you must take coaching because at the end its conceptual based exam.
