Now a Lecturer is designated as Assistant Professor. A newly joined Assistant Professor in Central Govt. pay scale will receive Minimum Basic pay Rs 15600 + Grade Pay Rs 6000 + DA + HRA + Other Allowances. Hence the total minimum payout will approximately Rs 50000.
