The test is conducted for determining the eligibility for college and university level lectureship and for awarding the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) to Indian nationals for pursuing their Ph.D or research. Both these tests are held two times a year, mostly in June and December. But there are many candidates who are confused between UGC-CBSE NET and CSIR-UGC NET. Although the purpose of conducting both these exams is the same, there is a difference in the subjects involved. CSIR and UGC are two different governmental departments and both conduct their respective NETentrance exam. National Eligibilty test, is a post graduate entrance exam which is required either for teaching qualification of Undergraduates & post graduates or for joining as a PhD student in recognized institutes. It has two grades of qualification LS (Lecturership) and JRF (Junior Research fellow). How to prepare for UGC NET management personally?
I cleared NET in Management for thrice and JRF twice. The secret is you should be good in fundamentals and you have studies regularly during your masters. Devote some time then you can surely achieve it.its not at all a big deal. All the very best.

M.tech +UGC NET is enough for lecturer job but some time preference gives to M.tech+UGC NET+Phd qualified candidate.

Well it totally depends on you. To conclude that you can solve previous year question papers and get an idea where you stand. If the concepts are not clear you must take coaching because at the end its conceptual based exam.
