After clearing net exam, one is eligible for lecturership. of one get through jrf he is becomes research scholar jr. one can apply for faculty in govt. and pvt. universities.

Will clearing UGC net be difficult?
Yes its is difficult as out of 5 lakh aspirants around 25,000 clear UGC NET every 6 months. But with due preparation and consistency you can surely clear the exam. I qualified my UGC NET Exam with Economics subject in June 2014.
