Depends on which wild animals and pets you are putting your spotlight on! Some species of wild birds are tremendously flamboyant in terms of their plumage, while the tamed ones come in relatively sombre shades. Bit of an obscure question, isn't it?

Color depends on temperature, wild animals have to remain in the jungle so there is no change in temperature and pet animals have to stay where their owners want them.
