Hello Swetha, The five important and preferred ways to learn English are : 1) Learn the basics and foundations of the language with the help of a good tutor 2) Ensure that you converse with your friends in English even if you make mistakes 3) Read English newspaper, magazine/s (aloud) daily atleast for half an hour and watch English news, debates on T.V. 4) Once in a week watch a good English movie (preferably British production) without sub-titles 5) Once you are comfortable, you can start reading English novels by reputed authors. I am sure, if you follow the above, you will learn the language quickly and feel more confident in conversing fluently in English. Best Wishes !!! read less

"Keep reading some thing and try to communivate in English" -- I know its a old trick/suggestion given to you by most of the people, yet its the best way. Keep reading news paper, blogs which posts something you are interested in, read books - start wid local authors. Communicate in english - I know, when you do this your friends make fun of it but just ignore them. When you chat in whatsapp/FB, do it in English. When you communicate with people who speaks good English, you get to know new words everyday and new things too. So, start it from today and practise this for 1 month continuously and you can notice the difference for sure. Good day.!! read less
