Hi Guarang, Spoken English is a little different than academic English. As the word spoken says, it is expressed in regular conversations. Here I am giving some tips to design a spoken English syllabus. # It should cover all the grammar content, but the approach of teaching spoken English should be practical or conversational. # Spoken English syllabus should cover all the topics like Tense Modal Auxiliaries Reported Speech Passive Voice Question Tag etc. # But when you teach those topics, you should train to use them effectively when they have a conversation. # You should teach advanced vocabularies so that students can use them in conversation. # You should also teach students some Idioms and Phrases so that they can sound different. # To boost students confidence and fluency, you should conduct Role plays, Group Discussions, Debate, Public Speaking activities I hope this explanation has solved your query. Thank you! read less
