Start with simple topics that the learner can identify with Model correct language usage. Supply learners with plenty of collocations. Have separate sessions that deal with repeated grammar/pronunciation errors. Plenty of practice in the form of speeches, conversations, role-plays and reading aloud.

Knowledge of methods are very easy but depends on how they are adopted. One question. Which came first? The grammar or the language? How and when was English adopted in India?
