Hi. Poonam here. I started teaching English to my classmate when I was in 8th. She was from Bengal and was facing pronunciation problem. I guided her for improvement. My English teacher was happy by this act. I kept on guiding to colleagues and other students. Teaching becomes easy if one teaches the students weak points in understanding. Whether grammar, sentence, pronunciation or any other problem. When I start with a new student I listen to him/her. Understand where the problem is & accordingly guide students to get better result. My students improvement is my greatest achievement. Having taught different age groups I learn a lot from them. Teaching should be along with learning to make students comfortable. My accomplishment is in 2000 I taught 10th classes, CBSE students with VERY weak English, both in writing and speaking. My Principal was doubtful that they will pass. I told her to give me 5 months just for English grammar classes. Gave extra coaching to students. Result was 100%. This was my BEST ACHIEVEMENT till date. I wish that all students are good in learning. All they need is a good teacher who guides in a correct way. So, do give me a chance to help you speak or write English in a better way. Thank you
