Hello People, I would like to open a spoken English center here in my town. So I would need an assistance in how to start with teaching, what is the first step & what are the study materials needed in order to start with the first batch of students. Please do assist me.

For that you must break the words into two so that students can easily understand the words. After that your lesson material should be proper like alphabet, verbs , nouns and moreover the most important is to use connectors like however, moreover ,because etc. In short your reading material should be simple. You should be slow in class while teaching the students. Moreover you should the practice sheets to students with the basic starts of nouns ,verbs, adjectives etc. While teaching there should be some fun like you can do role plays with the students, short debates, arguments and by showing them some English movies which should be simple, short and crispy. read less

Getting started with franchisee is the easiest way because all you need to do is invest, set up, advertise and get started. Sometimes the franchisee takes care of the advertising part also. All said and done if you want to do something unique by yourself then franchisee is not a good idea. You need to prepare all the materials on your own according to the students after you categorise them in your home town. Do some homework on this, if you need any help I'm sure there are more people out here on this forum to help. read less
