I have been educated abroad all the way up to my high school and therefore have a rich and healthy blend of knowledge and culture to my advantage. Having been educated under the CBSE board myself and then graduated from Bombay University in Sociology and Psychology, wherein Child psychology was one of my major subjects. I hold a Master's degree in English literature, majoring in phonetics. I have taught the English language from Primary classes all the way up to students pursuing their MBA. Teaching phonetics and correct pronunciation alongside diction and a basic understanding of the language are my forte. Hindi is another language that I am skilled in as not only do I come from but a Hindi speaking state, but have consciously developed my own method of making the language fun whilst teaching it to little children. I have been a recent graduate of both ICSE and the International Baccalaureate. At present, I am studying Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of California. In the past 3 years over the summer and into the first few months of school, I've been providing students with crash courses in Computer Science for ICSE and the IB. For the ICSE course, there will be a 1.5 month crash course covering not only all the parts of syllabus but also providing the ability to solve past papers and board questions successfully. This course is available to both IX and X students. For the IB, there will be a crash course focusing on the important chapters dealing with the core Higher Level Syllabus along with the option topics, both paper 1 and paper 2 abilities will be assessed. In general, I have always been passionate about teaching and have a knack for education blended with computer science. With past startup and industry experience, I'll be looking forward to educating and impacting students towards enjoying Computer Science as a whole, providing a holistic education as well, building overall knowledge and character in the context of technology and its applications.
