I have been teaching for almost four decades. I worked abroad in various colleges that offered the Cambridge syllabus, teaching in colleges such as Alpha, Bradley, London, and DAV college. In 2010, I returned to India and began teaching in the English department of junior colleges in Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune. My passion for teaching has always driven me to excel in my profession, and I am proud to say I have had a successful career. Currently, I teach Spoken English and IELTS to students. My methodology involves teaching reading, writing, speaking and listening modules. My lesson plans are customised to suit each student. I also teach English writing, connectives usage, correlatives, and essays on miscellaneous topics. I also focus on pronunciation and phonetics using clips, videos, PowerPoint presentations, and structured notes. After each class, I provide reading materials and homework to my students, and I conduct doubt-clearing sessions in the next lesson. My classes are transparent and interactive, which helps me to build a good rapport with my students.
