I have been listening to the Indian Classical Music even before I could recognize it. It helped in so many ways, has groomed me in various aspects of music. Early exposure to the live audience and introduction to theory in most accurate age has helped me train in Singing, Indian Santoor and Harmonium. Looking at the same music from 3 different perspectives has made me versatile in Light Classical forms, Pure Classical forms, in fact it has given me ability to spread the musicality I posses on any desired canvas.

I teach Harmonium at UrbanPro and have been devoted to this art form for over 25 years. Music, for me, is not just a profession but a lifelong passion, and teaching harmonium has given me the opportunity to pass on this beautiful tradition to students of all ages. I strive to keep Indian classical music alive by inspiring the next generation of musicians. I hold a Sangeet Visharad in Harmonium, which is a recognized and respected qualification in Indian classical music. This formal training has provided me with a deep foundation in ragas, taals, and compositions, allowing me to guide my students with authenticity and depth. Over the years, I’ve refined my skills and adapted my teaching style to cater to both beginners and advanced learners. One of the proudest milestones in my musical journey has been my recognition as an Akashvani (All India Radio) artist. Being featured on national radio is a prestigious honor in the field of classical music, and it has validated my commitment to mastering the harmonium. It also reflects my credibility as a performer and educator in the classical music community. My teaching methodology is structured, practical-based, and student-centric. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Each student learns at their own pace and brings a unique sensitivity to music, and I make sure my lessons align with their individual needs and levels. From understanding basic swaras and fingering techniques to learning complex compositions and improvisations, my classes are designed to be interactive and engaging. I conduct my sessions online, making them accessible to students across different geographies. Whether someone is preparing for music exams or learning harmonium as a hobby, I ensure that the learning experience is smooth, disciplined, and rooted in classical tradition. I also encourage regular practice and provide structured feedback to help students progress steadily. Music is a lifelong journey, and I consider it my privilege to guide others on this path. Through my classes, I aim to not only teach harmonium but also instill a deep appreciation for Indian classical music. It brings me immense satisfaction to see my students grow in confidence and musicality, and I continue to be inspired by their dedication every day.
