I am a devoted tabla artist and disciple of the world-renowned tabla maestro Pt. Arvind Kumar Azad ji. I have been learning tabla for the past 10 years under his expert guidance, gaining deep knowledge of rhythm, technique, and performance. My primary training is in the Banaras Gharana, but I have also studied and practiced styles from other prominent gharanas such as Lucknow, Punjab, Ajrada, Delhi, and Farrukhabad, which has enriched my versatility as a performer and teacher. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, and am currently pursuing an M.A. in Tabla from Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts University, Gwalior. Over the years, I have taught numerous students both online and offline from across India and abroad, helping them understand the beauty of Indian rhythm and the essence of traditional tabla playing. My teaching focuses on developing a strong foundation, clarity of technique, and appreciation for the art form, ensuring that each student progresses with confidence and passion.
