I am a motivated and result-oriented English teacher with 20 years experience of teaching both Foreign and Indian students at Savitribai Phule Pune University. I am looking to utilize my teaching skills for professionals, students and housewives. In my role as teacher and administrator at the University I have had an experience at coordinating English Language training programs for International students from basic to advanced levels. I have also designed and coordinated English Communication Skill programs for post-graduate Indian students including research scholars and professionals. I am an M.Phil in English from S.P.Pune University. I have • A good command of the English Language • The ability to train the students to use English Language effectively in functional, academic & business context. • Thorough knowledge of grammar and its usage. • Ability to identify language needs of individual students. Almost all the International students I have taught went on to successfully complete whichever course they undertook at the undergraduate, postgraduate and research levels. I am a firm believer that comprehensive knowledge of the subject one wants to teach is only half the battle won. A successful teacher needs the other aspect - which is of effectively being able to communicate that knowledge to their students. This is why I believe that practical learning of the subject should be the priority over theory based teaching. Most of my time in preparing for a lecture/ sessions with a student goes in thinking about understandable and effective examples that would make them grasp a particular concept with ease. For teaching a subject like Photography, I always make sure that I focus on the essentials. Hence I do not focus too much on boring theory aspects. Instead, I show you how a particular aspect has to be applied practically and how it changes the photograph that you want to take. Not only does it make it easier to understand, the students feel more enthusiastic in learning by this approach because they see a direct relation in what is being taught and the end result, which is taking the photograph that you had in the mind. Again, with a subject like Digital Marketing or Social Media Marketing, there is no way that a student can grasp the essentials without a practical session where he or she builds a dummy business. Working on dummy business really makes the learning enjoyable and effective, and I always use this technique. The confidence acquired from this is immense as the student will know exactly how to market a business in real life too since he or she has done it in a simulated environment. The same goes for Motivational and Soft Skills training too. Unless the students participate in practical sessions where they are forced to push their limits in front of others, they won't ever experience real growth. Though they might be nervous initially, they soon begin to get used to get out of their comfort zones. To sum it up, I can say that I am a contemporary teacher who believes that learning has to be fun. If the students enjoy an activity while they are learning, they are more likely to fall in love with it when they execute it in the real world.

I have Seven years of teaching experience and hold an MSc in Physics and a B.Ed. Throughout my life, I have nurtured a deep desire to become a teacher and positively impact young minds. My teaching sessions are conducted in the morning and evening, each lasting an hour. I strive to create an interactive and discussion-oriented environment where students actively participate in the learning process. To support my online teaching, I make use of various resources. I incorporate videos, which help to visually explain complex concepts and provide comprehensive notes for students to refer to outside of class. Additionally, I develop worksheets that reinforce the topics covered in the course, allowing students to practice and consolidate their learning. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my teaching career is witnessing my students achieve excellent scores and progress academically. Seeing them develop a strong understanding of the subjects I teach brings me immense joy and makes me gain confidence in their abilities.
