I am working in the IT industry since more than 18 years and have experience in the areas of IT education as well as IT software development. In my previous role as a Project Manager in the MNC I was responsible for conducting the boot camp training for the campus hires. While conducting the training I observed few gaps that need to be taken care of while training the students. The gaps were mostly related to the theoretical concepts that the students are learning and the actual practical implementations of it. To understand the reasons behind it, we conducted the Institute-Industry meet which was attended by many of the college principles and department heads. One of the action items that came out of this meeting was to provide more real life exposure to students. This I feel is possible if they can have the trainers who actually worked in the industry for considerable amount of time. To serve this purpose, I had conducted several trainings in different institutes and colleges in past. I have recently relocated to Pune and looking for similar opportunities here.
