I was a college student at the University of Sydney, Australia, and am now continuing my education in India. While in Sydney, I taught Bollywood to students from different backgrounds and cultures as a part of the Movement and Dance Society for one year. The classes consisted of a warm-up routine followed by teaching a choreography typically lasting 1-1.5 minutes on Bollywood songs within 30-45 mins followed by shooting videos for the social media pages. I have experience in communicating effectively even with language barriers and simplifying choreographies to make them understandable and enjoyable, even for people who have never danced to Bollywood songs before. While my specialization was Bollywood jazz-funk, I can teach hip-hop, freestyle, jazz, etc in Bollywood as well.
