To choose a trainer, you first must have a good chenistry with him and you should actually asses his accomplishments so that you start looking up to him.
Online courses, will help you to clear your basics and he can review your speeches online but you know what they say "to learn how to swim, you gotta get into the water"

Preparation is the first key. Practice is the second key. Confidence and belief in oneself that one can do it is the right key. A smile on the face boosts the speaker's confidence.

The person listening should keep listening till you finish, that's a speech well done. «less

Binit replied | 16/01/2016

Know your audience - its key to public speaking. One can't speak rocket science for underprivileged women. Similarly an event manager should do worse if he speaks on politics in a birthday party.

2nd is you need to really have at least some data point, artifects about the discussions.

There are lot of things you can do. Get some help as well.
