You have to first understand the meaning of art and its purpose. Artistic/art is not a technical skill, but a sensibility and expression. Study the history of art and photography and see how the medium evolved over the years. most simple things can be artistic and complicated things can be confusing.

Go for Canon's EOS L-series lenses, if you are serious about wildlife photography - 200mm or above (with 1.6x factor for DSLRs, it becomes 320mm or higher) . Zoom lenses cause distortion, hence compromise on image quality - but provide greater flexibility compared to fixed focal length lenses. However, L-series lenses are very expensive, even though picture quality is unmatchable. For serious photography use a Canon 650D/700D or 7D body. EOS 1200D is good, but very basic and for beginners only
