Photography is one of the profession that at first adopted by people as a hobby and later many people try to transform their hobby into a profession but interestingly photography offers you a lot of options to become a professional photographer today. In today's era of science and technology, one can have number of choices to use to become a professional photographer. Usually people ask questions from professional photographers about the cameras and other devices to use so they can become a professional photographer. Although, cameras and other devices do play a vital role in photography but it is a natural instinct of a person that makes him a professional photographer. Every one looks at the natural scenes such as flowers, rains, mountains, water falls, birds, animals and trees but not every one can see these beautiful creature of nature by a different angle by which a photographer can see. Unless you have that particular ability to see different things in a different angle, even your camera can't help you to take pictures in a professional manner. Knowledge, education and proper training to learn any profession is very necessary and it is the case with photography as well. The first step to becoming a photographer is to know the craft. That does not mean that a person who wants to be a professional photographer must enroll himself into an expensive photography class. This can be learned from good books on the subject but one has to be committed and this is the first condition not only to become a professional photographer but also for many other professions, In photography or Videography profession, it is very essential to understand how exposure works, how to manually adjust camera settings to artistically get the best pictures possible. This also means that one must understand the concept that is known as depth of field. Depth of field is how much area and at what distance subjects in the image appear in focus. Some photos such as of landscapes have wide depths of field with every tree, every rock, every part of every subject in crisp focus and in other photographs such as in portraits, use narrower depths of fields. It is important to note here that practice is the most essential part to become a professional photographer but practice should be perfect and just not a practice.
