Hi I wanted to know what will be the time duration of the PD course ? and also that after completing this course will I get a degree or a diploma ?

If you are looking forward to have a Career in this field, you may begin with Programs (Duration: 1-3 Months) provided by a trusted Institute and then you may go forward by improving your skills, get relevant training and you are sorted. read more Dear Manmeet, Developing a personality is a life long process, normally in PD classes you are taught the basic of Communication skills Development, Personal grooming Tips, Interview Handling Skills, Developing Interpersonal skills . These classes are conducted in 10 - 20 sessions depending on the modules included, some times spoken English is added into these PD sessions. Generally the classes get over within a month or two depending on frequency (how many days per week). PD courses directly have an impact in your way of responding to the world around, you will generally not get a Degree or Diploma for PD (no one is interested to see a certificate claiming you have undergone a PD course) it should reflect in your action. read less

Depending on depth of requirement each topic, time can be shortened or stretched.PD is ongoing process it gives benefit in overall performance of a person .Sometimes it is specifically aimed at target of achieving +ve impact of persons image, other time it helps a person to be more organised. It helps in better management and for better performance.Also keeping one healthy Happy and Confident.Now all this can not be only theory. so you need to practice on theory to practical implementation on your own /with the help of mentor.Usually trainers finish course work in couple of sessions or say couple of weeks. answer of second question : NO . Nobody else can judge you when it comes to your own personality. Although It is difficult for others to asses your performance after completing course you are the best judge. There are other certificate /diploma/degree courses for human psychology subjects . read less

Now the question remains, whether you want to go through it for your self development, or to be Trainer. So the answer will change accordingly. If you would like to go for a Train the Trainer program for the same then It depends on the the curriculum being set for it. You can search about ISTD (Indian society for Training & Development). It is a renowned institute and may help you with that. There you would get Diploma in T&D. And if, you are the end user of the Training program( that is, if you want it just for self-development), then it would depend on the topics you choose/ or the person who trains you.
