At first i am not a key board player and am a singer and now i need the job as per my subject M.MUS.

We would say 3 years as at this age a student could sit more or less quietly in the class and be attentive to his/her teacher. Moreover, in keyboard the student is not required to support the instrument (unlike, for example Guitar). In fact, in our Institute there are 3 years old students in Keyboar...

The student must be quite keen enough to initiate the grasping journey of a particular instrument.. If student is enthusiastic then at the minimum age of also he could begin learning keyboard..

Notations are different. As stated in the question itself both styles are different, unique and requires time and effort to master. A person trained in both can have better scope in fusion music.
