Yeah you can, this is completely fine, it's not ideal of course and there is a risk of the string snapping at the kink where it originally wrapped around the post, but for the most part you should be fine.

While it's technically possible to reuse acoustic guitar strings, some say it's not recommended because they may sound duller, have less sustain, and be more likely to break. They may also not hold their tuning as well. If you do break a string, you can try repairing it by removing it from the bridge, twisting the ball end, and then putting it back in and tuning it. You can also try cleaning your strings with a dry microfiber cloth to remove particles and help them last longer. read less
