I am Akash Chouhan, a PhD Scholar in Economics and an experienced educator currently working as a PGT Economics teacher at Bonnie Anne Public School, Moradabad. Alongside my school teaching responsibilities, I have been actively offering personalized tuition and academic guidance to BA Economics students (both Honors and Programme courses) from various Indian universities like Delhi University (DU), BHU, AMU, MJPRU, Lucknow University, and other state universities. My core strength lies in simplifying complex economic concepts and teaching them using bilingual (Hindi + English) explanations, real-life Indian examples, mathematical models, and visual tools like diagrams and tables. I also design short-term crash courses for students preparing for arrear/supplementary exams or university-level entrance tests. As a research-oriented teacher, I continuously update my material with current economic issues and NEP-aligned curriculum changes. My goal is not only to help students pass but to help them understand and enjoy economics as a subject that’s deeply connected to our daily lives.

Teaching Class 11th Economics has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of my teaching career. This class is not just a new academic year for students — it’s their first real introduction to the world of Economics, and I take that responsibility with great pride and care. At this stage, most students are new to concepts like utility, opportunity cost, PPC, demand and supply, and elasticity. My goal as a teacher is not just to complete the syllabus but to make them fall in love with the subject. I focus on simplifying complex ideas using real-life Indian examples, spoken in easy Hinglish , so that even the average learner feels confident and included. I often connect chapters to everyday situations — like explaining budget sets using pocket money decisions, or market equilibrium using sabzi mandi examples. I also use diagrams, graphs, classroom activities, and storytelling to make learning visual, interactive, and memorable. One of the best parts of teaching Class 11 is watching students transform from hesitant learners to confident thinkers. Many students enter the class unsure about economics, but by the end of the year, they can discuss real economic issues, apply theory to real life, and even help their peers. That growth is what makes this class so special. I also ensure regular doubt sessions, assessments, and feedback loops — not just to improve marks, but to improve conceptual clarity. I treat every classroom as a space for open dialogue and encourage students to ask “why” behind every concept.
