Overview

I left telecom industry after working as a telecom professional for more than 16 years as I has started getting more pleasure from teaching. I enjoy teaching because I seriously believe it to be an exciting profession giving an opportunity to positively influence young minds. It will helps in creating a generation which is self dependent, confident able, ambitious, and is sensitive and respectful to the right human values.

For the past 6 years I have been imparting training on communication and interview skills, together with English speaking for all the students appearing in competition exams. Along with this I have been giving tuition to students of class Vth to class Xth on subjects such as Economics, Maths, English, G. Science, Social Science, EVS .

My strengths in teaching are the fact that I emphasise on understanding based learning rather than learning by rote. I use interactive methods and like to explore other learning resource such as internet to along with books to enhance learning. An element of fun is also a point which i use to relax the students and make them participate more in the class.

What is the best way to improve English?

Read, write and speak english....it is a case of practice makes for perfection....imagine yourself as a little child who is just learning to speak and observe the methods which are used by the child to learn the language...same is the case here...you are learning to speak...only practice, constant observation... ...more

How to improve my english knowledge particularly in speaking and listening?

Practice speaking-look at video/enlish channel and try to repeat the converstaions. English channel helps in listening as they have subtitles so reading and listening can help you grasp the language better. But essentially it is all copy and practice just as kids do.

Another factor is english vs hindi- than englosh speaking students have more confidence than hindi speaking. But after a certain age I think everyone should do a bit of communication skills training specially when about to start a professional career- it helps.
