The best way is to listen to English songs, watch English movies or sitcoms. Try to read good books, read newspapers and always accompany yourself with a dictionary. The dictionary can be from English to English or from your mother tongue to English.

Any language is first learnt through listening. Then miming what is heard. Children pick up their native languages through listening and then speaking. So one of the simplest and easiest way of improving your language is to listen to it as often as possible and to speak it as often as possible. The first step to learn any language is listening. Try and listen to as much as English as you can. The easiest way is to listen to daily news on TV channels and other programs in English, especially connected to the subject that you like. For example, if you like wildlife, watch National Geographic programs. The next step is to read English. Begin by reading the daily news papers. This would help you in building up your basic vocabulary and would train your mind to convert your thoughts in sentences of English language. The third step is to slowly and gradually trying to speak as and when you build your confidence by implementing the first two steps. Try to make friends who can speak in English with you and would encourage you to do the same. What could also help you is to make your personal long book or a diary in which you write about your everyday experience in English. That should help you. Do let me know if you need further help. read less

Hi Manoj, Improving english shall require your dedication and honest commitment. You need to make it a goal and pursue it everyday bit by bit. Start working on your grammar and along with that figure out a fun way to keep track of vocabulary and idioms in the language. Such as you can learn 2 words a day and one in say 4 days. Write them on a paper and keep it right in front of your eyes so that you don't forget it. Then communicate as much as possible in your personal and professional life in english. If you feel shy to use it professionally, get into casual conversation with people, your friends and family on various topics. Also include the habit of watching english serials and movies and do not forget to read english newspaper regulalry. Hope it helps. If you are looking for any professional help, feel free to contact me. Good luck. read less
