Why determinants is applying to matrices?

0 0

Hussam Uddin replied | 23/11/2016

Determinant is use to give the magnitude of a vector of n dimensions. Suppose if you apply force in 4 perpendicular directions then it's magnitude is nothing but determinant. You can't simply add those forces you have to use matrices and then determine magnitude.
