0If you are serious about learning to play piano/keyboard, do it right. 61 keys are OK for synthesizers that are used as an adjuct to other instruments, but not as your only keyboard. I recommend a full 88 key keyboard and it must have weighted touch sensitive keys. A piano is a percussion instrument at its roots. Hammers hit strings. Its expressiveness from soft to loud is why it is called “pianoforte” (soft/loud). Without touch sensitive keys to simulate an actual piano keyboard its range of expression is seriously limited.
