Get Best Study Materials: To sail successfully through JEE, you need to possess best study materials – Textbooks, reference books, DVDs, CDs and more. Having access to good study materials is essential to effectively prepare for the exam.

Join a Coaching Center: If you are a first timer, it’s advisable to join a learning center as it gives you necessary ideas – what strategies to follow, what to read/skip, which books to refer and more. Joining coaching classes gives you clear idea on how to prepare for the exam. It gives you the chance to know where you stand.

Be Consistent and Regular: Joining coaching classes doesn’t end your work, to clear the IIT JEE exam you need to be consistent. Practice mock tests papers in Math, Physics and Chemistry every day, and track your progress and understand your problem areas. Creating a study plan and sticking to it religiously will go a long way in preparing for the exam.

Solve Question Papers: Solving previous years question papers are very helpful as it will help you to understand the question patterns and prepare accordingly. As JEE syllabus is huge, it is not possible to focus on important topics and problems unless you pay attention to question patterns and frequently asked topics. Solving question papers will streamline your JEE preparation.

Work on Weak Areas: Every individual aspirant is different so is their weak areas. Once you identify your problem areas, you can put a little more effort to strengthen those areas. Scoring high in the JEE exam depends a lot on how effectively you answer questions from each of the sections well. And a sure way to score higher is to know how to solve different problems from Physics, Chemistry and Math accurately.

Motivate Yourself: Getting yourself in the race mode sometimes wears you out. So don’t forget to take periodic break from your studies to unwind yourself. Involve in any of your favorite pastime activities e.g. listening music, read your favorite book, watch movies, spend time with your pet or anything that makes you happy. Also read success stories of previous JEE candidates, to keep you motivated to work harder for better result.
