Nita, (1) Students who preferred only Main in the past, appeared only in Main and did not prepare for Advanced. Nita, (1) Students who preferred only Main in the past, appeared only in Main and did not prepare for Advanced. Now whoever wants to appear in JEE will have to prepare for Advanced also as it will be merged eff. 2016. (2) Study time will have to be increased (3) If the IIT JEE aspirant gets below 10000 ranks, chances are more he / she will get the Course / IIT branch opted. Below 5000 ranks preferable to achieve the target / mission. read less

Hi Nita, As only top 1.5 lakh students from JEE Mains are allowed to appear for JEE Advanced, so after the joining, all the students will equally get chance to to aim for IITs and ISM Dhanbad. So overall I think it will be beneficial for students
