Yes, NCERT books are helpful for preparing for JEE Advanced as well. Compared to JEE Main, JEE Advanced demands a higher degree of conceptual understanding and application. NCERT books provide a solid foundation for JEE Advanced preparation by covering the fundamentals.

For 9th student it will be better to undaerstand the basic concepts and focus on basics. NCERT books will be better , other than this RD sharma for Mathematics, HCV for physics, OPA for chemistry.
