You should pay attention to all the issues in the essay question. Try to understand the question clearly and then write your answers. The essay writing task is included in both the general and academic IELTS. There are different types of essays, amongst all Opinion essay, Advantage and Disadvantage, Discussion and Solutions essays are considered the common types. You will get 40 minutes to write and your targeted word count is 250. The essay should have four paragraphs that will consist of an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Take a minute to think about what you are going to write. Make sure you don't have grammar mistakes as well as spelling mistakes. Answer the question with relevant main points. Always plan your supporting points so that they don't go off the topic. Use a range of linking words and avoid errors while writing it. You can write four or five paragraphs, not less than that or more. And each body paragraph should have only one central topic. Organise your ideas logically; it is crucial to have a clear idea about what you are going to write next. Pay attention to your paraphrasing, your vocabulary and on your spelling, in particular.
