As Task 2 in IELTS writing is to pen down your ideas on a given topic, the following tips will help you get a great score:
1. Read the topic carefully.
2. As Task 2 carries double marks (40) then Task 1, don't spend more time on Task 1.
3. Plan, Write and Review your essay before submission.
4. Make sure you've used the best of your vocabulary.
5. Input relevant idioms or phrases wherever required.
6. Ensure you've not made any grammatical or punctuation mistakes as there is negative marking on every error.
