Not necessarily. But if you are willing to immigrate to Canada or Australia and work under their airlines, then there are specific criteria. What the Visa officers look for is - Age, Education Qualification, Experience, English proficiency, a family member who is a citizen, Marital status and chances of adjustments to the new environment. Strictly speaking, English speaking is one of the critical factors that fetches the points. It is mandatory to know that one should get an excellent band score, as it provides a strong foundation towards getting an overall high score. You also can't afford to get it waived off under any circumstances. As we all know, the IELTS test comprises of four sections - writing, speaking, listening and reading English. The listening section is about how well can you understand the language and accents. Coming to writing, it is probably the toughest sections in the IELTS as it tests several parameters like grammar, sentence construction, essay structure etc. In speaking around, interviewers check the test-takers ability to hold the conversation or like merely explaining a complex idea. When it comes to the listening section, you’ll need to multitask as you’ll listen to the recording and write the answers at the same time. If you missed, then you’ll lose marks because the recording will not play twice. Thus, you need to improve your listening skills and understanding of different accents. Towards the end, the journey to cracking IELTS can be straightforward for someone who has a good command over English. read less
