The question is not whether 7.5 band , overall in IELTS is good, better or best. The question should pertain to the usefulness and utility. IELTS scores are graded from 0-9, with 9 being an expert user of the English language. Now, 0 to 3 has absolutely no value. Its only from 4 that some value comes in, like UKVi or spouse visa for UK. For job permit, quite often band 5 is the criteria. 7.5 overall does not firintoany criteria. Overall 7 is required by many colleges and universities in academic.
