Mayur, any time is a good time to start but if you are weak in your writing and speaking of English, better to start early. Give yourself 2-3 months to be familiar with English. If you are good st English, even one month is enough for practice before the exam.

You should start at least 2 months before your test date, but it also depends on your knowledge about grammar. IELTS Academic is generally required for studies abroad, but its always better to confirm from the University or College.

The simple answer to this is that foreign universities and visa granting authorities need to be sure that you will not have communication issues while staying in the country. You need to show a good understanding and strong command of the English language and that is why your overall IELTS scores are so important. The test is divided into four modules that will test your listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. Each module will fetch you a certain band score as per your performance. read less
