Since there are four different modules, you need to give equal importance and attention to all the four modules. Practice every day, and an essential part of preparation is the mock tests. Take up as many mock tests as you can, this will increase your vocabulary and also will give you a heads up about the type of questions asked. You should refer IELTS exam preparation and grammar books to pass the exam. And it is not hard to et 6.5 Band in the exam.

I am having problem with the listening section in IELTS. My specific problem is with last part of listening section where the pace of information is high and you have to understand it all to answer questions 31 -40 .
You can definitely focus on the keywords or connecting words in the question and try focussing on the words being spoken during the listening test. This will enhance the probability of you spotting the right answer against the noted keywords.
