There is no introduction as such in ielts exam. In speaking component as part of script you will asked your name and where you are from question ( 2 questions ) before moving to familar round, which require only a short answer as it is not said to be part of evaluation. In the familar round, examiner may ask you, "I would like to know more about you, so tell me something about yourself or your family and so on." Here you are supposed to give an answer which is around 15 to 20 seconds. read less
