Be focused!

Dear IELTS aspirants,

Hi everyone!

I'm posting this message with a strong purpose in mind and hope you agree with me on this pointer.

Most often, I have students enrolling themselves at my learning centre, who show a lot of enthusiasm in the initial days; but as time goes by, they either lose focus or realize that they have to put in a lot of effort by way of practice.

Excuses like, I am busy, I have to go to work today, I'm ill, etc follow. It's here that I realize my students are taking things light.

It pains me to see how the habit of procrastinating and feeling that they know all the funda are prime reasons behind a candidate getting only a band score of 6 or 6.5 when he/she could have got 8!

Please remember, the more you practice, the higher will be your scores. Make a firm resolution to religiously attempt every competent and everything that has been prescribed by your trainer.

The results that follow thereafter can be worthwhile.

Strive towards perfection rather than settling to mediocrity!

Regards

Sheila Sudheendra
